How can we help?

Power Supply Lightning Protection
A Type 2 Lightning Surge Protection Device is installed at the control panel power supply input (120VAC) and output (24VDC). This has a Frequency Response Circuit to filter the peak of lightning-induced current and EMI/RFI in the power line. The unit filters the residual voltage left from the Main Panel Type 1 device. The unit is supplied in a NEMA4 enclosure for indoor installation. It has remote LED indicators for each phase that are mounted on the Control Panel. The unit comes standard with a Dry Relay Contact cable that can be connected to the facility’s SCADA system. This allows remote monitoring of the unit’s integrity.

Current Loop Lightning Protection
A Type 1 4-20mA 24VDC current loop Surge Protection Device is used to protect the PLC control circuits monitoring with the Tank Level gauge. The copper pair has a shield wire routed with it. During lightning events over current and voltage is induced in these lines that damages the control circuit. The Terminal Mount Surge Protection Device filters these surges. The device disconnects when it is time to replace.

MODBUS Lightning Protection
A Type 1 24VDC MODBUS Surge Protection Device is used to protect the PLC control circuits monitoring with the Tank Level gauge. The copper pair has a shield wire routed with it. During lightning events over current and voltage is induced in these lines that damages the control circuit. The Terminal Mount Surge Protection Device filters these surges. The device disconnects when it is time to replace.

Power over Ethernet Circuit Lightning Protection
A Type 1 Power over Ethernet Surge Protection Device is used to protect the PLC communication circuits connected to the Antenna or CCTV. During lightning events over current and voltage is induced in these lines that damages the communication circuit. The Terminal Mount Surge Protection Device filters these surges. The device disconnects when it is time to replace.

A Type 2 Lightning Surge Protection Device is installed at the UPS/ Battery panel output which is either a 120VAC or 24VDC. This is to protect the power supply & battery charging circuits. This has a Frequency Response Circuit to filter the peak of lightning-induced current and EMI/RFI in the power line. The unit filters the residual voltage left from the Main Panel Type 1 device. The unit is supplied in a NEMA4 enclosure for indoor installation. It has remote LED indicators for each phase that are mounted on the UPS/Battery Panel. The unit comes standard with a Dry Relay Contact cable that can be connected to the facility’s SCADA system. This allows remote monitoring of the unit integrity.
