Marketing Specialist

MARKETING SPECIALIST
MARKETING SPECIALIST

Petro Guardian is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. Our centralized team supports multiple companies and divisions in the oilfield services, lightning protection, and engineering fields.
We are looking for someone who can assist with managing and building new websites, launching new brands, and keeping the marketing department organized through asset management and reporting.
Our ideal candidate is organized, productive, and results-driven. You should have a good understanding of marketing principles. You should have experience with Wordpress, Excel, and Google Analytics. This is an entry-level marketing position and there is potential for growth for the right candidate.

Duties & Responsibilities:

● Assist with operations and database management for e-commerce websites. Assist with website maintenance and upgrades. Wordpress experience required.
● Implement a marketing and sales asset index.
● Assist with outbound and inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning etc.)
● Update weekly and monthly analytics reporting templates and provide trend analysis for multiple brands.
● Integrate data from multiple sources (SalesForce, Google Analytics, Linked-in, Leadfeeder) to produce weekly lead reporting.
● Website SEO tracking and management.
● Use the audience profile data, goals, and promotion plans outlined in the Marketing Plans to research and collect rate cards so the marketing team can evaluate the most appropriate media buys for each campaign.
● Perform company and industry research for data inclusion in a marketing database.
● Participate in regular company and department meetings. Other assignments as delegated by the marketing team.


Skills & Abilities:

● Knowledge of HTML, CSS and web development tools
● Google Analytics (certification a plus)
● Report building with Excel and/or other reporting tools
● Ability to communicate effectively across departments

Qualifications:

● 2-3 years in a similar role or in a similar capacity
● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

PETRO GUARDIAN is searching for an enthusiastic Outside Sales representative responsible for prospecting and generating new petroleum industry sales. This position requires meeting with petroleum operators at their offices and in the field to establish excellent long-term customer relationships, educate clients on the products and services we offer, and seek further opportunities through direct references and referrals. The outside sales rep will perform essential duties and responsibilities through professional customer service, teamwork, and our specific software programs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Increase business by generating profitable sales with new and existing clients in onshore shale plays.
• Qualify prospects for new accounts and expand client database within a geographical territory via personal sales calls on a regular basis, cold calls, site visits, and direct coordination with contractors, channel partners, end-user clients, and service teams.
• Create project take offs & follow ups on quoted projects
• Meet personal and sales team goals including fiscal responsibilities, market, and company objectives
• Gather and report to management information regarding the company, competitors, pricing, products and current and future market trends as well as assists management in planning, tracking, and implantation of sales strategies for development of new markets
• Provide professional customer service for our customers along with outside sales support for all Divisions through telephone, email, and website correspondence
• Evaluate customers’ needs and build profitable long lasting relationships
• Educate new and existing customers on lightning protection systems
• Introduce and demonstrate new products and technologies to prospective clients and assigned accounts
• Work with Inside Sales teams to prepare quotes for customers
• Work with Inside Sales teams to build and strengthen long-term customer relationships
• Maintain proper training and certifications as required
• Provide back-up support and feedback as needed for Sales, Estimating, Design, and Project Management Departments
• Prioritize one’s own work. Anticipates potential problems, or opportunities for change. Sets and meets realistic deadlines. Forecasts changes and communicates current and projected issues
• Consult and provide advice, facilitate discussion and resolve conflict; establish trust; build and use cross‐functional relationships to accomplish objectives
• Understand and work within our specialized software
• Collect data, provide various reporting and support for management team
• Aid in the process of setting up new office locations in other states
• Aid in the training of additional Outside Sales individuals as needed
• Travel to and from office locations as needed
• Regularly meet with sales manager to discuss activities, feedback, market status & progress

Requirements & Skills:

• Travel 2 weeks/month for customer office and field meetings
• Experience in technical and/or industrial B to B sales
• Highly self-motivated and people oriented
• Strong communication skills (verbal/written)
• Persuasive, assertive, strong negotiation & closing skills
• Responsible, organized, with superior planning & time management skills
• High school diploma or equivalent, sales or industry based experience required with proven record of success
• Previous cold calling experience and 5+ years business to business sales experience
• Computer proficiency in Windows, Microsoft, & Salesforce CRM
• Must have reliable transportation with valid driver’s license & insurance and safe driving record
• Additional skills may be required to perform additional task(s) specific to department or business needs

Job Summary:

Our corporate mission is to provide a work environment that will reward our team members with above normal living means and provide long-term job security to our employees while maintaining our position as a world class engineering and manufacturing supplier/ installer of lightning protection materials.

Job Duties:

Hauling machinery/equipment (manlift) to and from field sites
Loading and unloading of manlift
Installation of lightning protection in the oil and gas industry in Midland, TX.

Requirements:

Out-of-state travel is expected and transportation will be provided.
You must be able to work out of an aerial lift.
Background checks are required and drug tests are given randomly on a regular basis.
Previous experience preferred, but not required as job training will be provided.
Basic construction and/or oil and gas experience preferred.
Must be able to pass DOT drug screen.
