Petro Guardian Welcomes Alex Salazar to the Team

Petro Guardian Safety Manager

Petro Guardian is happy to announce and welcome Alex Salazar as the Petro Guardian team’s safety manager. Alex is a native of West Texas and was born and raised in the Permian Basin. He attended Permian High School and played outside linebacker for the series, “Friday Night Lights.” West Texans take Friday Night football very seriously. He graduated in 2009. 

Alex has an impressive and extensive academic background. He earned an associate’s degree in business administration from Odessa College. He then earned his degree in business administration with a concentration in management and energy studies focus as well as a minor in healthcare administration from the University of Texas Permian Basin. Alex later pursued his interest in occupational safety and health at Texas A&M. Throughout his academic career, Alex worked as a safety coordinator for various companies in West Texas. 

Alex is a dog dad to Max, a blue heeler, and Daisy, a red heeler. He also has a niece and nephew he adores. Alex enjoys the outdoors – hiking, riding horses, and ATVs. He loves to travel and explore the mountains in Colorado and Utah. He loves spending time with family and being surrounded by loved ones, and also enjoys football season. 

“Alex Salazar is a great addition to the Petro Guardian team. We are confident he will further improve current safety protocols and implement new initiatives to keep our team safe. We are lucky to have him on board,” said Bear Grissom, Director of Petro Guardian Electrical Division.
