Petro Guardian is pleased to announce the hiring of Graham “Scooter” Beachum III as the Director of Permian Region. Within this role, Scooter will focus on implementing strategic business expansion plans in new customer acquisition, existing customer support, implementation of turnkey services and provisioning of continued inspection and preventive maintenance within the Permian Basin.
Scooter brings 25 years of diversified management skills to the Petro Guardian team. His last 12 years focused on the oil and gas industry, specifically in exploration, drilling and completions. “ We look forward to Scooter’s market experience and the competitive positioning he brings to Petro Guardian’s Permian Operations,” said Harshul Gupta, VP of Technology.
“Lightning protection is one of the most cost effective protection solutions operators can make. The risk covered by the investment creates a value proposition that is difficult to debate. After reviewing the market, Petro Guardian offers the most efficient system available installed and maintained turnkey,” said Beachum.
Prior to joining Petro Guardian, Scooter held Business Development positions with Nabors Drilling Technologies, Koch Industries, and Halliburton in Midland, Texas. In these roles Scooter focused on the areas of West Texas and New Mexico providing drilling and completion solutions to oil and gas operators. This time allowed Scooter to build his knowledge and experience in the Permian Region. Predating his work in oil and gas, Scooter’s career was focused on the software industry in Texas and Southern California.
Scooter earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree, focusing on Marketing and MIS. His systematic mindset made him the perfect ambassador for Petro Guardian’s risk mitigating lightning and static protection system. He is a current member and Treasurer of the Permian Basin Association of Directional Drilling.
